Breathing New Life into Our Parks

Mifflinburg Community Parks Action Projects (MiffCPAP) is a non-profit organization collaborating with the Borough of Mifflinburg to raise funds for maintaining and enhancing our parks and greenspaces.

As individuals who live, work and play in Mifflinburg, we hope to facilitate:

  • Safe, inclusive playgrounds for children of all ages

  • Abundant recreational opportunities for residents and visitors

  • Attractive, well-maintained greenspaces that help increase property values

  • Inviting areas for families and friends to gather and play for generations to come

Welcome to Mifflinburg!

Mifflinburg is a vibrant community located at the heart of Central PA in the Susquehanna River Valley.  Our rich history is rooted in the manufacture of carriages and buggies in the mid-19th century.  Today our charming downtown is filled with quaint shops and restaurants and our businesses make hometown hospitality Job #1.

A lovely rail trail connects Mifflinburg with Historic Lewisburg affording residents and visitors of both communities abundant opportunities for exercise and exploration.  Mifflinburg has been named one of the top Bike Friendly Communities in PA by  People for Bikes City Ratings.  Building on this success, the Mifflinburg Community Parks Action Projects (MiffCPAP) team envisions beautiful, accessible recreational areas within our community.  These parks and playgrounds will help to build property values, provide rest and relaxation for residents and visitors alike and promote community cohesiveness.

MiffCPAP has been awarded four grants that put our vision within reach, but we need the support (both monetary and time/talent) of Mifflinburg residents and business owners to help us achieve our initial goals and support the upkeep of the resulting parks and playgrounds.  When you support MiffCPAP, 100% of your donation stays within our community.  Learn more about how you can help on our Donate page or plan to attend one of our family-friendly fundraisers.

We invite you to join us in Breathing New Life into Our Parks!
